happy anniversary

Tonight my Mom made dinner, but not for her to eat now .  .  .  we are taking it with us when we go to the beach. (I don't know what the "beach" is but she is soooo excited about it, it must be nice!)  She took this picture because she was also celebrating. She met her husband today along time ago. We are sharing a Martini  .  .  .  not really, just a photo opp!

hair cuts!

Why do I have to get my hair cut? I don't like it! I don't like getting baths either. Which one do I hate the most? Hair cuts. First Mom picks me up and starts whispering how cute I am and says, "kisses. kisses .  .  . " Okay, I'm not a puppy anymore. I'm growing up and figuring things out. Like she really doesn't like it when I squat on the floor. Grwllll, she gets mad about that. But when she picks me up with that shinny thing in her hand that makes that funny snip snip noise right before my hair falls off  .  .  .  yep, I know what's about to happen! It doesn't hurt, and she snip snips really slow and careful, but I just DON'T LIKE IT! I wiggle and whimper (which she hates) but she is not going to stop until it's all done. I do like it when she's through, but the snip snip part is really BAD.

fleas, fleas, fleas!

Hi! Me again! Guess what happened to me and my two big sisters. We had to go to the place we stay when mom goes away (she always comes back but sometimes I wonder and get scared but his time she did so I'm okay!!!). While we were there we got "infested"  .  .  .  now I don't really know what that means but I finally figured out that the little things that are crawling on me are called fleas and they bite and make me itch and I can't stand them and  .  .  .  whew that was a lot to say all at once  .  .  .  anyway, mom said we came back from that place infested with fleas! I had to get three baths and get this cold smelly stuff squirted at me from a bottle on my back, and I didn't like that either, but today, mom left in a hurry and came back with a present for me and something she called the fix for a no flea zone. We are all itchy, especially me cause theres not as much to scratch and she said "hold still Boo Boo" so I did and she put something wet on the back of my head between my ears. It didn't hurt or even feel funny. Then she put this shiny thing around my neck and called me a princess, whatever that is. It must be something really good because she smiled real big when she said it. My sisters got the same thing and they didn't complain either, except for Peanut cause she's wild all the time. So, now I'm laying on Weezy's bed looking "precious" about to take a nap. This experience and story have made me really tired! See my pretty pink collar.

Oh, I almost forgot  .  .  .  did you notice my new picture? I need a little trim but I'm such a big girl now I didn't want to look like a baby anymore. Mom said that would be okay so we put this new picture up. Yep, that's me in my party dress that I got from Atticus, my next door neighbor.  He's a really big boy!

How did Weezy get bigger than me?

Look at him! He used to be a lot smaller than me. Now he's almost my size. I don't get it. He's getting stronger too. Just when I thought I wasn't going to be the smallest person in our house . . .
He is still fun to play with and I never get lonely anymore. But I don't want him to get bigger than me. I want him to stay just the way he is!

Hi! Look who joined our family!

Meet my new little friend, Weezy

Hi. My boy found this little kitten last week. It was really sick but Mom took him to the doctor to get all better. He is the only person in our house smaller than me. He walks under my belly all the time when I'm standing up. It really tickles. I wish he could sleep with me but Mom says he's way too little. I really like playing with him too. Time for bed. Night  .  .  .
